On 12 September, FiscalReps travelled to Madrid, Spain to hold a European Forum at the Occidental Hotel. Attracting over 30 attendees, the Forum was a great success.
The Forum begun at 11am with an introduction and welcome by Mike Stalley, Chief Executive of Fiscal Reps Limited.
Nazaret Gonzalez followed (in Spanish) with the first part of her presentation: ‘The Life of a Tax Liability’. From its birth to its settlement, attendees were reminded of all main obligations and requirements, with a rich variety of European examples. At the end of this section, a Q&A session brought up a couple of current “hot topics”: co-insurance and branches registration.
After a discussion period Nazaret went on with the second part of her presentation: a European update on recent changes on IPT. The audience was very pleased with this and a good dialogue on the current Spanish situation took place.
Finally, Christophe Bourdaire presented an overview on France, in Spanish, explaining the caveats of this very complex country. The audience was very satisfied and suggested a longer session in future events.
The Spanish Forum was the first time FiscalReps hosted a European Forum in native tongue and it was heralded a great success.
FiscalReps espera continuar con el éxito obtenido en la gira de Foros Europeos 2013 y tiene previsto organizar nuevos eventos en 2014.
