Insurance Premium Tax update

Insurance Premium Tax (IPT) legislation has changed considerably recently with the current economic situation and these changes show no sign of slowing. Understanding and managing the complexity of IPT is an increasingly important task for insurance professionals when transacting business across the European Union. FiscalReps would like to invite you to their annual Malta forum. This forum will enable attendees to bring their knowledge up-to-date and equip them with the basic skills to manage IPT compliance more effectively within their organisations.

Registration will begin at 3.30pm, with a one hour presentation by Mike Stalley at 4pm, followed by a drinks reception allowing attendees to network with FiscalReps and industry peers.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to view a demonstration of FiscalReps’ unique software applications, taxbox® and taxDNA™.

Karen Jenner, Client Director, and Joseph Finbow, IPT Manager, will also be on hand following the presentation to answer any questions you may have.

Karen Jenner, Client Director

Karen joined FiscalReps in 2010 as an insurance consultant. She has over 20 years of experience in the insurance arena, 15 years spent in the city working in both broking and underwriting roles. The bulk of her career was spent at Chartis, working in various roles in Major Accounts Practice, responsible for the global insurance programmes of some of the top 100 FTSE companies, and has a lot of experience working with captives. As Client Director she will retain responsibility for your overall relationship with FiscalReps.

Joseph Finbow, Insurance Manager

Joseph Finbow joined FiscalReps in 2011, after experience at HMRC and KPMG’s Insurance Premium Tax team in London. Joseph is a manager in FiscalReps' compliance team, where he focuses his time working with Captive Insurers. His experience ranges from the submission of premium tax returns, to reviewing tax law and meeting with European tax offices to ensure efficient and compliant submissions. Joseph is currently working towards the completion of his Chartered Accountancy qualifications.
